Vintage Murano
The art of Murano glass making dates back to the 9th Century. Were it not for the Venetian citizens fear of their homes burning to the ground, Murano glass might never have developed into the amazing art form that it is. Glass makers were ordered to move their foundries to the nearby island of Murano in 1291.
